Bosch Home Comfort India Ltd (hereinafter “Bosch” or “We” or “Us”) welcomes you to our inter-net pages and mobile applications. We thank you for your interest in our company and our prod-ucts, websites, software portal, internet pages and mobile applications (together also referred to as “Online Offers”). Data protection and information security are important aspects of our corpo-rate policy.
1. General Information
1.1 Data Fiduciary/Controller
BOSCH is the Data Fiduciary responsible for the processing of your data; exceptions are outlined in this data protection notice.

1.4 Data transfer to other Fiduciaries
Principally, your personal data is forwarded to other fiduciaries only if consented to or required for the fulfillment of our contractual obligation to you. Particulars on the legal basis and the recipients or categories of recipients can be found in the Processing purposes and legal basis section. Addi-tionally, data may be transferred to other fiduciaries when we are obliged to do so due to statuto-ry regulations or enforceable administrative or judicial orders.
1.5 Service providers (general)
We involve external service providers with tasks such as programming and data hosting. We have chosen those service providers carefully and monitor them on a regular basis, especially re-garding their diligent handling of and protection of the data that they store. All service providers are obliged to maintain confidentiality and to comply with the statutory provisions. Service provid-ers may also be other Bosch group companies.
1.6 Transfer to recipients outside India
We might transfer personal data to recipients located outside India. In such cases, prior to the transfer we ensure that transfer to the data recipient is not statutorily prohibited.
1.7 Duration of storage, retention periods
Principally, we store your data for as long as it is necessary to render our Online Offers and con-nected services or for as long as you do not withdraw your consent. In all other cases we delete your personal data with the exception of data we are obliged to store for the fulfillment of legal ob-ligations (e.g. due to retention periods under the tax and commercial codes we are obliged to have documents such as contracts and invoices available for a certain period of time).

3. Provision of the Online Offer
If you use our Online Offer solely for information purposes, that is, without registering or other-wise sending us information, we process your personal data to provide the Online Offer based on our justified interest and basis your voluntary disclosure by visiting our site, to present ourselves and to ensure stability and security.

4.1 Registration
If you wish to use or get access to benefits, we request you to provide your consent during regis-tration. On the basis of your consent, we will collect personal data necessary to provide you with access, benefits and services (e.g. first name, last name, date of birth, email address, if applica-ble, details on the preferred payment method or on the account holder). We may collect further data on voluntary basis, if applicable.
Obligation to provide personal data.
You must provide those personal data that are required for the establishment and implementation of a business relationship and for the fulfillment of the associated contractual obligations or for the processing of which we are legally obligated.
We mark such personal data in the respective forms.
Please note that without the provision of such personal data, we will not be able to enter into or perform a contract with you. In this case, certain services (see "Processing purposes and legal basis") cannot be used.
5. Communication
5.1 Contact form
You contact us via a provided contact form. We store and use data entered in contact forms, such as name, e-mail, address and telephone number, to communicate with you. We process your personal data based on consent, voluntary disclosure, contractual obligation towards customer support and to improve our products and services.
6. Security and protection of rights
We may also process your personal data to investigate service disruptions and for security rea-sons to comply with our legal obligations in the area of data security, as well as on the basis of our legal and contractual obligation as well as justified interest in the elimination of service disrup-tions and the security of our offers.

7. Log files
Each time you use the internet; your browser is transmitting certain information which we store in so-called log files.
We store log files to determine service disruptions and for security reasons (e.g., to investigate attack attempts) Log files which need to be maintained for evidence purposes are excluded from deletion until the respective incident is resolved and may, on a case-by-case basis, be passed on to investigating authorities.

Right to access information
You have the right to obtain confirmation from us about whether or not your personal data is be-ing processed, processing activities, recipients of your personal data and, if this is the case, ac-cess to your personal data.
Right to correction and deletion
You have the right to obtain the Updation or rectification of inaccurate personal data. As far as statutory requirements are fulfilled, you have the right to obtain the completion or deletion of your data.
This does not apply to data which is necessary for billing or accounting purposes, or which is sub-ject to a statutory retention period.
Withdrawal of Consent
In case you consented to the processing of your data, you have the right to revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future. The lawfulness of data processing prior to your withdrawal remains unchanged. You can withdraw your consent by sending an informal mail to our email ID or to our DPO as mentioned below.
Right to grievance redressal
1. For any grievances, concerns or requests related to your personal data, please make use of the Contact section.
2. If you are unsatisfied with our response or in case of non-response to your grievances, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. You can appeal to the supervisory authority which is responsible for your place of residence or your state of residency or to the supervisory authority responsible for us.
